Musical Instrument Rentals

Hot Rod Music carries a wide selection of band rental instruments for everyone from beginners to accomplished artists.

We work with all the local schools to provide rental band instruments for the musicians in their programs. Renting an instrument is a cost-effective way to allow your child to play a new, high-quality instrument without having to buy it first. We carry carry Conn-Selmer, Olds, Bach and other and wide range of other band instruments.

Some of our more popular instrument rentals are:

• Clarinet, Flute, Trumpet, Trombone or Percussion - $24 per month
• Alto Saxophone or Oboe - $40 per month
• Tenor Saxophone, French Horn or Baritone (Euphonium) - $48 per month

And our program features:

• M&R Insurance, which is included in the above prices, that covers loss from fire or theft.
• 100% of the rental fee, excluding the M&R Insurance, is applied towards the instrument purchase, including step-up models.
• 35% cash discount given on outstanding balance, and is applied towards the purchase of the student rental instrument.
• Basic accessories are included with each rental instrument.
• The instrument can be returned after the first three months rental period with NO obligation, providing the instrument is returned in good condition.
• No fees to switch to another instrument– all equity is retained.
• Free delivery to your school.
• Loaners are available when in stock if your instrument is in need of repair.
• No Sales Tax on rental payments.
